The Swell Form Pro machine provides a fast, easy, and reliable method for creating tactile maps, diagrams, graphics, and more at production-level speed. It has revolutionized the process of producing superior tactile graphics, enabling output that is both quick and of exceptional quality.
How does it work?
Zychem’s specially developed Swell Touch paper reacts to black ink and heat. When the paper is exposed to heat, the black-inked areas swell, producing well-defined tactile features. The finished graphics are durable and reusable. Free pre-made tactile diagrams are available at TactileLibrary.com, or users can create custom graphics using a computer and printer/copier, or draw directly with Swell Touch markers.

The Swell Form Pro is designed for efficiency and ease of use. Turn on the machine, select your speed setting, and feed the Swell Touch sheets onto the conveyor with the graphic facing up. The machine can process two sheets at a time and additional sheets can be manually added in sequence. The conveyor passes the sheets under the heating system and deposits completed tactile graphics into the collection tray, ready for use within seconds.
Black elements swell to form tactile features, while colors remain flat, allowing for added visual detail. Users can experiment with textures, patterns, and colors to create engaging and informative tactile graphics.
